University Pathway

The University Pathway program is designed for students whose ultimate goals are to attend a university or college in North America. This is an advanced level program and focuses on providing students with the academic English skills which are necessary to be successful in a Canadian College or University.

In this program, students specifically focus on the following skills and topics with the goal of improving academic English proficiency:

Academic Essays and Writing

Note Taking, Lecture, and Listening

Research and Citation

Academic Presentation

Seminar Participation

Debate and Discussion

This is an advanced level program. This program is appropriate for students who have an advanced level of English. Students who do not yet have a sufficient level of English can join CanPacific's General ESL programs as following until they reach the necessary University Pathway Program level:
