Word-a-day calendars are special kinds of calendars. Many people use the calderas on their smartphones or computers these days. However, word-a-day calendars are different in that each page includes a new word. They’re interesting for word lovers and practical for language learners. You can even set yourself a task or start a new habit of using each new word at least once during that calendar day. There are great varieties of word-a-day calendars to choose from, but for the greatest educational benefits, I’d recommend the ones that include the definition, pronunciation transcription, example sentence, and etymology of each word.
